Wolfson Microelectronics, Edinburgh
Fantasic commission to design and oversee the fit-out of Wolfson
Microelectronics' new 48,050sq ft Headquarters within a defined budget of £2.2 million. The brief was to create a relaxing, yet fresh environment, whilst ensuring the functionality of the offices in order to maximise employee productivity.
The Hoebridge Inn was originally built as a bobbin mill in the late 19th Century, and after a stint as a cow byre, was converted to a restaurant in the early 1980’s.
Kate Marrian Design was briefed to create an inviting family oriented restaurant providing a positive and lasting image for customers of all ages within a restricted budget and timeframe. The overall aim was to appeal to a new, younger market whilst
maintaining the charming character that its current clientele enjoyed.
